Eighty-five-year-old Martha Gleerup is taking her safety into her own hands, learning hand-to-hand techniques from a karate master. The Tennessee woman can now parry attacks from potential assailants, using her hands and her keys. And while she hopes she'll never have to use her new moves, the lessons have helped her. Karate? Prepare to lose any fight you get into. Learn jiu jitsu. Karate is just easy techniques people learn just to look cool. Where they hand out high ranking belts after 1 lesson if you pay them to. In jiu jitsu, it takes 50 years of training to get "black" belt. And black belt isn't even the top rank.. It's about EXPERIENCE, but KNOWLEDGE
