Here’s an idea, just brew concentrated coffee so you can use less of it, thereby reducing dilution of the cocktail. By boiling vermouth, you are vaporizing alcohol as well as the precious other chemicals that give vermouth its flavor. You’ll better preserve the flavor by making the cocktail normally with strong coffee.

I did a cold brew over a couple days with Everclear, intending for like half a shot to be used in a large drink, but a friend of mine tried drinking it plain before I could explain what it was. 😂

"You don't want to dilute your cocktail" yeah just like boiled vermouth will have any alcohol in it...
And then you just pour your hot mix straight on your ice, producing way too many water.
The idea is really good and the flavors really make me want to try but to be honest the method is terrible.
And as I already read the Sbagliato is a Negroni without Gin but with sparkling wine instead (Sbagliato = Little mistake in italian)
