Emotions evolved to insure better survival. Fear, and parental rage to protect young should be self-evident. Deeply programmed emotions become instinctual. It might be argued that AI/robotic intelligence can not "feel" because their ancestors did not face the situations that would evolve emotions.
It's a disservice to not consider Ameca one of the most sophisticated androids.
