Taken from a flight attendant, PLEASE do not do a beauty routine on board! And if you do make sure to disinfect hands first. Planes are a petri dish of germs.

For me a sunscreen is a must have at a.m. flights as well. Worth give it a try to protect your skin even better. I have a very sensitive skin and re-applying sunscreen instead of moisturiser is much more beneficial. 😊

It's just a The best skin care i do for my skin is put on an eye mask, put on noise plugs and sleep off. Th longest flight in the world is 17 hours. It's ok if u don't do anything for 17 hours. I mean... One doesn't fly 17 hours everyday! But that is just my thoughts. By the way... Airline pilot here. And i actually fly about 6 hours everyday.😄

I tend to do a lot of what you advised during a long haul flight -I’d never for to use water after micellar water though so will defo do that next time. I also never thought of using actives either therefore good to know. What about SPF for a daytime flight? I would normally apply this too….I also always clean my hands thoroughly before I touch my face ☺️ xxx

So, you go to the airplane with your face clean even though when is daytime and the sun could hit your face? Then inside the airplane daytime without sunscreen?

What about sunscreen before, during and after the flight? Sunscreen is actually the most important for me.

What happens if I don’t do my skincare routine on the plane (aside from sunscreen)? Sure the air is dry but once you get to your destination, you can hydrate and moisturize. What are the benefits of doing it onboard?

I’m confused about the little bit of tinted sunscreen. I have melasma, and protecting my face from the sun is essential.

I hate how my skin feels after being on a plane. I would never put a retinoid on my skin if I was flying though 😬. I remember seeing something on TV where a lady on a flight soaked a tshirt with water and it was bone dry within an hour!!

If you take off whatever little you have on your face before you board, why even wear the small amount to the airport to begin with? Just go to the airport with a clean face.

doesn't dust and bacteria from inside the plane land on your face? Is reapplying moisturizer continuously sanitary?

Thank you dr Sam, really helpful. I'm turning 40 and don't mosturize during a flight. The rest I do as you say. Guess i'll better strat.

My routine on a plane is to cake my face with petroleum, drink till I pass out and put a blanket on my face instead of SPF. I feel reborn afterwards.

When are you creating travel size for all your products?

to me it's:
Tavor 2.5mg with a glass of red wine
Keeping hydrated throughout the flight drinking plenty of water
arriving o the place with my skincare already done made of intense moisturizing serums-toners-lotions a thick moisturizer with Vaseline. I skip tretinoin. This to prevent all the dirt at airport and from inside the place to even touch the skin. I'll wash my face properly At the airport immediately after landing. if it's a day flight, plenty of spf because the UV up there are crazy.

'Vedic meditation' from London meditation center and there is no Indian aboard. Could you care to clarify if there is any body in that place who knows 'vedas'.You need a hindu who knows vedas to teach you that stuff. Unless that place is making money off gullible customers. Like how much more cultural appropriation is required to satisfy your monetary needs, how much more loot? Appropriated black culture, now after the Indians. Makes me sick to the core.
