Only Dr. Idriss's skin would look this good on a red-eye flight. Mad respect for filming this mid-air.

I'm a flight attendant so by no means an expert but what I found helps is a good water based moisturiser (I use Oat So Simple) and niacinamide + Vaseline for my lips as they get gunpowder dry. Absolutely hate HA on flights because it makes me super red and dry. Love a nice face mist and absolute must is water and eating as healthy as possible. Thank you for these tips btw. Gonna try all of them.

Currently studying to crack the exam to become a dermatologist. You’re such a big motivation. Hope I’ll get to meet you someday. 💗❤️💗

This is the skincare dedication I am here for. Brava, Dr. Idriss! I'm also that freak who busts out the skincare and humectants in flights. No shame!

I would simply use a high-water content moisturizer and re-apply as needed. Then lip balm. Sunscreen as well, if during daylight. Keep your routine simple and enjoy the flight. Be careful attempting to bring liquids more than 100ml. Also yeah flight attendants have vlogged about passengers wearing sheet masks in-flight at night. 😆 Also, be mindful of other passengers when spraying something in the air with essential oils or any scent. Do it in the lavatory if you have to.

Perfect timing! I leave for Africa Wednesday and it’s going to be a total time of 18 hours of flying! I wasn’t sure what exactly to do, but I do now! Thank you!

Recently discovered your channel. Was on the hyaluronic acid bandwagon for a long time and couldn't figure out why it felt great initially but after awhile my skin always felt drier than ever. I picked up one of your recommended cleansers and the Aveeno serum and cut out the HA and I'm amazed at how much better my skin feels. My dry AND dehydrated skin looks and feels dewy. Thank you so much for pointing me in the glycerin direction!

Me trying Aveeno for the first time: "Oh, what's the big deal about a dropper? Can't be that bad."
Also Me: "Oh cool, little push button top, convenient!"
Me after using dropper: "OMFG I it!!"

Thank you so much for the informative video. I have oily skin. During menopause it began to become more normal. I had been using a fairly strong hyaluronic acid on my face everyday. This of course was due to all the marketing hype that it attracts 1, 000 times its weight in water. After a few months I developed pretty severe atopic dermatitis on my face and the skin around my eyes was bagging. I looked like I was 80 years old. The thought briefly crossed my mind then it could be the HA, since I had read that it could draw moisture up from your skin layers if not used with a good moisturizer. I had a video appointment with a dermatologist who prescribed me an ointment to clear up the eczema. It took a couple of months to fully recover from this. I now use an oil cleanser and a good moisturizer. This really was a nightmare for me. I hope other women see this video and read some of the comments made and stop using HA like it's the beauty miracle of the century. It isn't. And by the way, the dermatologist didn't even suggest there was a problem with the HA I had been using. So not all doctors are aware of this.

Tank you, this was amazing! I can guarantee you the flight attendants did not think you're a freak. They ALL struggle with the drying air on the plane and many do masks / intense skincare on their layovers! 💗🙏🌺

BUSTED! 🤣 I’m a female commercial pilot. I never go in the sun, but take Vitamin D and use glycerin! At 57, I’ve had nothing done and don’t have a wrinkle or spot on my face/body/hands. I agree with you about everything! I’m a vegan, never salt my food, and never wear makeup in-flight. I also drink a lot of water. People think my 31 year-old is my husband! I use the exact same misters that you have, and bought a 2-pack at Walmart online. I do wear sunscreen whilst flying. On personal trips, we fly to Lebanon and Israel quite often. Love your channel!
