O2 sensor anti fouler fix

This is a great "temporary" fix to a catalyst converter that is causing a check engine light on your downstream O2 sensor. I removed my cat because I am running a suspension that would interfere with the routing of the exhaust. My Jeep is basically a trail rig and I no longer need the cat. This modification simulates the O2 seeing the heat of the exhaust while getting a non direct flow of the exhaust making it think the cat is working correctly. This has worked on many cars that I have put it on with good success.

Straigh piped my 96 tack when it was only a year old. It's still fixed this way. But you're right it is not a permanent fix eventually one of these days I'll get around to swapping it out with a URD simulator. I straight piped because it's actually better for the environment, not for power or to make it loud. The deletes are permanent, it's the fix that'll eventually get upgraded.

Exhaust shops selling spark plug non-foulers is like gun stores selling oil filters 🤣🤣🤣

Be cautious some vehicles after 2005 will use the downstream data to modify fuel trim, it's not just the upstream. If you put on a spacer and get a P2096 CEL code you will know why

Did it to my Mazda pickup with 2.5L about 10 years ago and it doesn't throw a code. Only time it does is when I put low tess fuel in it, unless you put octane boost in it, but I'm used to putting high tess gas anyways looking to do it to my ranger with 4.0L since it had dual headers going to make it dual exhaust with x pipe and flow masters on it

Need to take a poll. Think this works all the way up to a 14 camry?

I saw another video saying that if this doesnt work, they said to put steel wool mesh in between the non foulers. You think it will be a solution?

This worked for me 2yrs ago… now time for emissions again, CEL has came back on. Will it pass again🤔

You shouldn't use these anti foulers on your upstream o2 sensor that upstream o2 sensors monitor your fuel trim air fuel mix ratio, the downstream is fine to do this with

My downstream O2S go down while rpm go up? Is that normal?
