Wow, Kevin is an unbelievably good host. How he remembers the overall agenda and individual talking points is crazy.

Glad to see Winston as a partner in the Shapeoko group. He is a valued voice in the cnc community.

Having both myself, I agree.

With my Pro I'm more diligent on making sure my linear rails are clean and lubricated with way lube after every use. But I just ran some aluminum plate on it and the Pro ate it for dinner even thought I wasn't running optimally with a mist nor single flute.

My just kinda run harder than I did my my SO3, but not as hard as my Pro, then just shut it off and walk away for the night. :)

Where can I get that table to hold the Shapeoko 4xxl

Great comparisons and SWEET SHIRTS! I really wish I had opted for the S3 XL rather than the XXL that I currently have. I don't use the extra capacity and could really use the space in my shop. Hindsight I guess...! You are correct in saying "be honest with yourself" because I knew I probably wouldn't have needed the extra size especially with my first machine.

Why 33 inches, though. That's just a weird dimension. The natural size would be to accommodate a 2' x 4' sheet of plywood like is common from the home centers.

I was thinking about buying a shapeoko pro and I love inlays very much but I can't seem to find any example projects anywhere, are inlays possible with shapeoko or is it just to hard?

You are mentioning the Shapeoko 3 but the title says 4. Which of then are you talking about?

What is the table that you're displaying these on? I'm looking for an appropriate work bench for when I order mine.

If I’m looking at your 4 pro do the belts stretch and if so do you cover them if they need to be replaced
Also is there a time limit on the software or do I own it when I purchase every year

Any side-by-side comparisons of machining aluminum? I’m particularly curious about surface finish from higher rigidity in the Pro

I love the Shapeoko Pro. I have really enjoyed far it has exceeded all my expectations!!
The HDZ/ spindle upgrades are a massive improvement. The HDZ should be standard on the Pro and option for the 4.

hi. i had a question. so i have the 3xl. cant seem to get anything to work without losing steps. ive heard everything from squarness to belt tension etc. To be honest, im going to post and sell mine tonight but i wanted to know how the 4, 4 pro and 5 address issues that come from belt tension, squareness and anything else that will cause issues. does the 5 even use belts? how ready to go are the 4 pro or 5 compared to others when it comes to ease of squaring and tramming issues and belt tension issues?

What table is being used to display both CNC's. Looking for something just like that for my set up.

Odd question: Carbide 3D, where did you get this table in the video ? I just bought the 4 XXL and it looks to be exactly what I need!
