Shapeoko pro 5 4x4 cnc router test cut.

I am really impressed with the 1st cut. it went smoothly. I know it was just cutting out a circle but it worked. Stay tuned for more videos.

Nice video man. Question, did the system continue to give you problems about changing the tool (I’m assuming it’s talking about the router) ? I’m considering getting this machine but I want to use my own router just like you did with your Makita.

Does your 5 Pro chatter or heavily resonate when it move diagonally across the length of the CNC?

You definitely want the bit runner at the very least. Will cut down on some of those prompts.

Was the Makita power cord long enough? I have a Shapeoko pro xxl and just
purchased a Makita as a replacement. It has a 8’ cord. Will I have to change the cord?

"LOOKS" Can be deceiving. You need to measure ID's, OD's, Depths, and comp'ed left or right is correct.
YOU need know the machine is cutting to what is programmed. +/- 1/64 or .015 is acceptable for a wood router.
