I thought they looked good offensively. Cade looked bad, I actually think the other QBs were decent and the transfer from CSU looked better than advertised. I liked Marco’s performance, the running game really ramped up when he was in. The season tanks if Kirk stands by Cade the way he did with Petrish. Play the best player with the most upside. What scares me is in this offense Cade has to make throws on the run he struggles with. I see a lot of pick sixes in Cade’s future.

As long as KF isn’t saying that the offensive line is much improved/doing well then I am pleased. When our OLine is bad, you can always expect Kirk to try and build their confidence by saying nice things.

The defense is good against other crappy big 10 teams. We saw how awesome the did with ranked teams and got blown out.

Cory, Do you ever feel like our defense prohibits the growth of the offense? If the defense doesnt allow big plays on our offense (ie. On any team's offense really) does it prohibit us from building the muscle to get the ball vertical and downfield?
