This is insane.
I literally developed an almost impingement in my shoulder at the same time I got the thumb tendinitis
This makes total sense

That’s perfect this video came up. I was pretty sure this pain was not only related to carrying my toddlers but also the shoulder pain that I had because of my toddlers, too. I finally resolved my rotator cuff and pec minor tightness, but it has persisted so long that I started developing pain down to my wrist! I will try this!

Have it in my left thumb. From golf I do get a tight slightly sore left side of my neck. Restricts turning my head to look to the right. So your point makes sense. But then what can you do to to cure it?

You are a legend my man! I’ve been struggling with tendinitis, probably De Quervain’s for 6 months now and after trying this exercise for the first time I can feel instant relief.

What is recommendation about dosing? How long should I do it and how often? Is this something that can be done each day? Not like rehabilitation training (each 2-3th day)

Thank you so much!

Classic approaches havent worked for me. Gonna try this. Any idea of how quickly I might see results? My case is really chronic and old (3+ years)

Interesting. I was told that I had bone spurs in my cervical and lumbar spine before I figured out that I had DQT. I was having numbness in my left fingers and toes but the DQT is on the right side. I don’t know much about the bone spurs and have an appointment on Monday at the spine clinic because I’m more concerned about the numbness, even though the pain in my right thumb/hand/ forearm is unreal. Getting older is so much fun! Lol 😂

Do you have some studies you base your suggestions on, or are they just suggestions cuz outside of neurodynamics aka Peripheral nerve sensitivity (PNS cannot be improved or treated with poking at your traps and need some specific testing and techniques) I can not think of a way how some stiffness around the neck can cause this pain and also do you know one person which doesn’t have some stiffness or tenderness around the trapezius/levator scapulae area?
