Never lose an argument with this one even simpler trick. If you're having a conversation with someone while a sudden turns it into a fight, just politely disengage without showing any emotion. Not only will you have saved yourself a lot of time and energy, but you'll get to have a nice chuckle as they get even more upset at your neutrality.
