Thanks for an awesome Sessions. Nice to get familiar with Keilverbinder connectors. Great hardware when the application is needed. Another great use for Origin!

Interesting but the reality is that as the Shaper Origin still lacks the ability to supress auto-retract trying to use any sort of submerged bit (i.e. T or dovetail) is likely to result in workpiece damage. I recently destroyed a workpiece which had many hours of my time invested in it when auto-retract triggered on a false positive for tape movement violently ripping the fully submerged cutter out through the material and destroying the workpiece. Until auto-retract suppression is available I would steer clear.

Sorry guys, in Minute 36 you start to abuse the mallet to „destroy“ a fine piece of work! How about using a piece of scrap wood to protect the work piece you made?

I've purchased the bit and the long and short connectors. Can you provide any leads on good screws to use with the connectors?

During this Session it was said that the strength of the connection was documented in the Design Guide and that you would get Guide when you downloaded the files. However the Design Guide in not in the download. There is the and also (requires translation from German) but no strength numers are found in those publications.

Question is, what are some examples of the streangth of the connectors?
