TBH, even tho people say that radagast didn't really help in the events and battles in middle earth. He help in a way that was important, like giving Intel and suspicion on the movements of the enemy.

I like Radagast because he’s basically like a chill hippie-type Maia who basically wound up “going native” in a sense because he fell in love with the forest and the animal world so much, and is entirely concerned and preoccupied with THEIR defense and existence, rather than the races of elves and men and their artifacts, which Saruman was entirely preoccupied with. Gandalf really is sort of situated between Radagast and Saruman in more ways than just being “grey”.
