Beorn is my kind of guy. Lives in the wild, owns a farm and some animals, chomps wood with a big axe, and can transform into a bear. He's a pretty cool guy.

I like Beorn, even the Orcs were afraid of him, they refused to attack his house when they saw him in beast mode. One of the best characters in the series IMO

Despite his scary image, Beorn’s living place says everything about him: he loves life and cares about all creatures. Bees, honey, hay, fruits, milk, wood, horses, cows, mice, sunlight, fresh air. This is Peter Jackson’s ability to express ideas with pictures and no dialogue. This is what people often overlook when they talk about The Hobbit, calling it a fisco or a disaster. It’s certainly not as perfect as The Lord of The Rings but it still a wonderful trilogy.

Wish I could live like Beorn. Simple life, fresh milk, cheese, cream, bread and honey for breakfast.

I wanna eat at that table. The cheese and honeycomb look delicious.

The Swedish accent is heavy. Makes me smile.

Beorn is portrayed like a bear in human form as he is in beast form.
Basically, he seems like a gentle giant of a man, but if you cross him it may be the last mistake you ever make. He has that perfectly intimidating presence that shows he’s not afraid to make you feel unwelcome if need be. The way he almost growls when he speaks is also perfectly represented as to how bears always seem to growl when they vocalize, even when being gentle.
I know some people don’t like this portrayal of Beorn as compared to the book, but I think they did him quite well here.

Beorn was underutilized.  He was the game changer in the BOFA in the Hobbit book.

I for one like this Beorn. I can understand why many people don't like this version as he seems less happy and jolly, not like the lumberjack type we imagined. I can't really describe why I like this Beorn but just something about him makes me like it. I think it's the fact he almost growls out his lines, makes him sound more animalistic and primal

I still think it is kinda sad that Beorn wasn't a more shown character. I instantly liked him and still want to see more of him.

Even Beorn knows how dangerous Thrandruil and his Woodland Elves are.

To simply summarize this whole scene: Beorn decides to help the dwarfs just to give a firm finger to Azog the Defiler.

Imagine being the last one of your species. That’s just really sad and lonely.

I love this scene, it's one of my favorites in The Hobbit trilogy. And as I'm swedish, I love Beorn's actor Mikael Persbrandt. And I noticed that even Beorn doesn't like Dwarves cause he sometimes thinks they're blind and greedy, he just hates orcs more and only kills them cause they killed Beorn's people.

This is by far my favorite scene in all three movies. Shows so much humanity.
