I grew up in an outer district in Athens and my mom who grew up in Mexico would always pick the cactus fruit for us. People thought she was crazy. Good times

In México we call the fruits Tunas. We peel them and eat them with Tajín and limon or by it’s self. And the pads are called nopales. Slimy but very good and healthy ❤
