Water in this game does not look so natural in terms of caustics. It looks like Wukong is walking in some kind of liquid that has more viscosity, more like jelly than actual water

I miss a little how creative developers used to be when it came to creating graphics effects like shadow, reflections, and etc...

Heck, even some PS1 and Nintendo 64 games like Ocarina of Time or Crash Bandicoot 2 had pretty convincing reflections, Wukong without ray-tracing just doesn't have reflections at all.

people keep framing this game as rasterization vs raytracing, but in reality its software raytracing vs hardware pathtracing. the games default lighting is software mode Lumen, which uses raytracing to resolve multi bounce global illumination, ambient occlusion, and diffuse reflections, it then usually relies on screen space tracing for specular reflections and then finally virtual shadow maps for shadows. this games "raytracing" mode is Nvidias Pathracing SDK. keep in mind also that Wukong does not support virtual shadow maps instead using the older style shadow cascades.

RT is BS! It does get 10% better but who is gonna check every corners details while they are either traversing or combating. I would rather have solid high frame rate!!

only hardware based GI really makes a huge different visually, all the rest options are nice to have

That amount of difference for more taxing performance...bruh, if they wanted to they probably can do baked reflection and lighting as good as RT, and won't hit the performance so hard. Beside from that though great game, highly recommend it even to my casual friends easily.

el agua reacciona extraño a lo movimientos de los personajes, espero no ser el unico en notarlo, parece mas una especie de "liquido" gelatinoso antes que agua como tal y es extraño pues muchos otros juegos han logrado tal efecto.

just give up the RTX thing, i am all for the higher resolution, frame rate and other graphic setting. RTX give me the headache when fighting in the water, it just too much happening and the framerate are tank.

I much rather them have used Lumen over RT UE5's Lumen method looks better imo and isnt as taxing atleast they should of gave us the option to choose
