This movie introduced a whole new generation to the word "Plethora, " and for that, I am grateful!

Don't forget that Steve Martin also fights Tinnitus as a Friggin amazing Banjo player and musician. He is one of the great talents in the world... Those lasso skills are legit.... and NO ONE wears an arrow through the head like Steve

Reupload just means rewatch. One of the funniest movies of all time. Their chemistry together is perfect. “Are gringos falling out of the sky?”
“Yes, El Guapo!”

"Son of a motherless goat" has been a go-to insult among my friends for the last 25 years. The definition of a plethora also comes up a surprising amount.

“Pardon me el Jefe I do not have your superior intellect and education…” lives rent free in my head every day since I saw this in theaters.

I really enjoyed watching this growing up. A precursor to Galaxy Quest and Tropic Thunder.

Trivia: the choreographer for the movie was Shirley Kirkes, who played Fonzi's playboy bunny girlfriend on 'Happy Days'. She also choreographed 'Father of The Bride' (1991). My dad went to school with her, and my family got to spend Christmas 1982 with her and her family.

One of my (many) favorite scenes is Lucky Day's inspirational speech:
"In a way, all of us have an El Guapo to face someday. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big dangerous guy who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who actually happens to be the actual El Guapo!"

I would love to see a sequel to this with the original actors coaching newer actors that are doing a film 'based on the true events'. As it has been almost 40 years since, you could tick by 30-40 years in their universe setting it either pre or early WWII and toss in some sort of spy element as the Germans try to get Mexico to join the war against the US, giving the new and old Amigos a chance to be unintentional heroes once again.

The Three Amigos one of the funniest moments is every.Especially the the Mexican basics El Guapo, Alto so Arab and Jefe Tony Pena to this day at birthday parties someone always says "it's a sweater" also one of the funniest lines when Conduits asks Carmen "do you know what fore play is" "no" "good cause neither does El Guapo" every Latino I know loves these characters they have a plethora of funny lines.

Steve Martin, John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. That would have been a killer cast. But Steve Martin, Bill Murray and Robin Williams? That is a winner!

Love this movie. Classic quotes and songs.

I've lived with tinnitus for 30 years and I totally agree with Steve Martin.

I saw this as a teenager at the movies. It was hilarious back then and hilarious now.
