Something I’ve had to start asking is: “Who do you live with?”

One would think the older we get, the less we’d have to ask this, but more and more, men ACT single, SAY they’re single, but will never call from that “empty” house 👀
If he only calls from the car or on the go, but says he’s single...look deeper!!

Questions to Ask on the 1st Date:
1. Ask him what he is looking for upfront. (Try to get them to answer first)
2. Are you single? (Is there anyone who would be offended by the idea that you're out with me right now? ) or (Does anyone believe they're in a relationship with you?)
3. Do you prefer monogamy? (Get their definition of monogamy)
4. How long was your last relationship? How long ago did it end?
5. Why do you believe your last relationship ended? (Volunteer this information about yourself first)
6. If I were to ask your ex why the relationship ended what would they say?
7. What is your impression of me?

Remember too if he says I am"separated" that is still "married"..I remember a guy telling me this and I responded that I dont date married men. He got upset and said atleast I was honest and we could still talk he was waiting for it to be finalized. I said nope not interested. I only date "single or divorced men.
not married or separated. call me when its final.

Most of these are pre-date, phone call questions for me. And I try not to answer them myself b4 I ask them cuz sum men (esp narcissists) Will tell u exactly wat they think u wanna hear. IJS😎

Patterns of behavior tells you so much & energy not just physical attraction! Don’t give up too much information because some ppl will use that information to manipulate you. Unfortunately most ppl know how to answer these questions without looking crazy, but everybody can’t keep on the mask for long. Remember those first couple of dates they are sending their representative. Don’t ignore red flags!! God gave you intuition aka compass for a reason. The problem is we choose to ignore it for too many reasons to list.

Honestly, don't even apologise or be shy about asking questions....the more confident you are, the more clear you are about what you want and what your value is, the more direct you'll be and you won't even care if they don't like it....why? Because you value your time, your body and mind. The right person will be just as upfront and will actually respect the fact that you're also direct about what you want.

On my first date with my now husband, I asked if he was single. He said "yes." Then I followed up with, "Is there anyone out here who thinks that you are their man?" This falls in line with MJs question of...is there anyone who would be offended that we are out together.
