In this video we have discussed in detail about the symptoms (lakshan), triggers, investigation and treatment of migraine headache.
We have also talked about when investigations like CT and MRI head is needed.

Migraine headache is very common and in females it is present in every 1 in 5 females.

Symptoms of Migraine headache (migraine ke lakshan):
If we talk about the symptoms of migraine headache then the patient has pain on one side of the head especially in the frontal area and around the eyeball.
Other symptoms associated with migraine are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and weakness.
The common signs associated with migraine are raised blood pressure, raised pulse rate.
Also, there are some visual or sensory symptoms associated with migraine headaches which are called Aura. Migraine Aura is commonly visual symptoms but they may also be sensory symptoms or motor symptoms. These migraine Aura may develop before a migraine attack, during a migraine attack, or even after a migraine attack.

Investigations/ lab tests associated with migraine headache
There is no specific investigation associated with migraine headaches.
A migraine headache is diagnosed by evaluating the clinical signs and symptoms.
But sometimes the doctor may advise some investigations like a CT scan or MRI of the head.
Also, some blood investigations/ lab tests like CRP for ESR may also be ordered in migraine.

Treatment of migraine headache.
Treatment of migraine is divided into two parts
A. Medicines that are given to relieve an acute migraine attack
B. Medicines that are given for long-term prevention of migraine headache
