I'll tell you something I learned from one video call and one chat over some chicken wings and drinks with the guys from Carveco and Hamilton at Workbenchcon.... Hamilton is the same guy in person as he is on video.
He is brutal honesty while extremely humble and I promise that he will never say a word about any product that he doesn't believe 100%. I get the feeling this might not be the case with every YouTube channel!!

I think you are totally honest and forthright with your opinions and findings regardless if you paid for it or not. That can’t be said by others in YouTube.

Hamilton, you're one of the very few individuals who's opinion I trust even when given free product. Most of the time, those types of videos are nothing more than glorified spec sheet reads. So keep it up, your content is amazing.
I was pretty much set on a shapeoko 5 pro, but there's some launch issues that are giving me pause. It'll probably still be a good while until I have enough for a cnc, but the elite woodworker is looking like that may be the way to go. I appreciate your cnc videos.

I have the elite foreman and I love everything about it. I only have one complaint about it, and that is when something goes wrong, it takes too long to shut off after hitting the emergency stop button. One time I accidentally forgot to Zero the X axis, and sent my spindle straight through the table I had it on, and it didn’t shut off, the spindle was still trying to turn but couldn’t, and i hit the E stop several times, and ended up pulling off the main power cable from the spindle itself before the computer told it to stop. Mind you this was all in a matter on about 5 seconds, thankfully the spindle was just fine afterward, but it was a very scary situation to hear your spindle trying to turn when it’s stuck.

Your honesty is so pleasant to listen to. Watched your top 3, enjoyed all 3. Thanks!

I absolutely love your honesty when talking about CNC's I am in the process of buying a CNC. I am from Europe and for some time I was close to buy a Stepcraft M1000 but then all of a sudden I saw videos about Onefinity. It is absolutely stunning what they came up with. I am just blown away. The reason why I have not ordered one yet is because of shipment costs and in case of warranty issues or problems. Sending it back and forward would cost a lot of money!
In your process of finding a CNC was Stepcraft ever an option?

Keep continuing these good YouTube videos. It’s a pleasure to follow you!

In india you get full scale 5 feet by 8 feet CNC machine with 5 hp power requirement. Powerful spindles. Chinese or local with Chinese parts.
They weighs a few tons . Costs equivalent of $7-8K .

I truly appreciate you as a unique individual doing what he loves to do. A person is absolutely lucky to find a job that he loves to do, make money and have a satisfied and fulfilled life at the same time. Good for you. Later when you’re older and look back you will be completely at peace with your life. (Especially if people give you tools, can’t get enough of those.)

Have you taken a look at the new Altmill made by Seinci Labs? If yes, does it compare to the Onefinity elite? Thanks in advance as would like to hear your thoughts in it.

Great video! I appreciate your transparency and neutrality with regard to your opinions. I would love to buy this machine, but am worried because I don't have a lot of room in my shop. I saw that Onefinity doesn't recommend this unit for vertical mounting. Any guesses as to what the limiting factor is? X axis? Y axis? Wondering if some form of counter-balance system could resolve the issue, like a garage door opener spring system. Low inertia, so that it didn't adversely affect the accel rates.

Hi Great Video. I am not computer literate. I bought a $250 small 7" x 11" put it together plugged it in and the router mover. Then using Carveco program I designed a small name plate, hit go and nothing happening. I would need to go to a school somewhere for at least 40 hours of training before I ever buy another CNC. and at 78 yo not sure I want to do that. Have to admit it would be real cool to have a CNC. I had the same thing happen the other day on my OneFinity. The only problem I had is it lost its XY and Z zero. I used the touch plate to re zero all three and it did a fair job finishing the project. Now I have a UPS on both my OneFinity and my VFD.

Lol good video, we have "load shedding" which is basically 2 to 4 hours of blackout at a few scheduled blocks during the day (there is this whole roster and levels and stuff which means the times change all the time).

I totally agree. I have the X50 and bought it in 2021 and have made the machine's purchase price back numerous times over with just the basics. I also don't think there is a better machine on the market as of today. Can't wait to move into a larger shop and upgrade to the Elite! Great company in my opinion. Good video and good info to help get people to consider the best purchase they'll make if they want to make money in their spare time.

I cant wait to order one. Was hoping to on release but the wife put a stop to that LOL, Building a new shop and buying weekend a car in the last 2 years was enough for her. I have been running my woodworker since the original release! After I didn't get the OK I decided to upgrade to the journeyman. Coming from a shapeoko years ago. The onefinity is the best bang for buck. Super rigid and fast. The masso takes care of all complaints I had with the original.
