This is right in my price range. I'm new to CNC and I have a very small one. Looking to upgrade to something larger and stronger but all of the ones I was interested in seemed way too expensive for me just as a hobby. This is a nice sweet spot.

Can we use diode laser head on that machine

you can see the wobble in the leadscrews, so ovoid this cnc at all costs, this will srew up tolerances and will cause some problems down the road if you try to do accurate work

As an owner of openbuilds mill which I heavily modded I have to say it's just bad, even for wood and for this size it's even worse. V-wheels and this alu extrusion on such dimensions will bend all over the place and leadscrews will be a bane of your existence with constant adjustment they require if you want at least some dimensional accuracy. Openbuilds are stuck in the past. Ratrig or similar is much better for quite similar price. Even the end stops they use are garbage you will have to make sure no small dirt gets under them, I upgraded to touchless ones and literally forgot about the constant hassle of making sure no debris getting under them. Openbuilds controller on the other hand is quite good for regular user.

Lol wish mine was easy to put together. No instructions just a YouTube video and a whole lotta missing parts and no customer service to talk to it’s kind of disappointing really don’t think I will buy another open builds
