I am a Filipino and I'm surprised how the Mt. Pinatubo Eruption impacted not just the entire Philippines but also the global temperature of the whole world at that time. Btw, I'm always enjoying your What If? content 🙂

I remember my mom telling me when the Mt.Pinatubo erupted.She said that everyone was suffering because of low food supplies because the smoke from eruption almost covered the entire Luzon region of the Philippines and that smoke is the reason why it started raining ash, which is what made life harder in those times

Do they know that the eruption in 7:37 is Mt Saint Helen’s in 1980 not Pinatubo? I remember both eruptions.

This is a horrible idea. It leaves out so many other risks. First the amount of Carbon Dioxide is immense. The sulfur aerosol is not in equal measures. The Sulfur MIGHT reduce the temp if only it was introduced into atmosphere. Unfortunately the ratio is nearly double of CO2 to sulfur.
There is also the whole fact the sulfur depletes the ozone. The only eruption that would fix the climate to be worth it would be one that would reduce human population significantly and plunge the world into a global freeze for years.

Video suggestion: What If we could literally tow planets? Like attach hooks from spaceships to the surface and pull the planet along. It would take a lot of spaceships to tow Mars/ Earth. But is it theoretically possible to rearrange planets in the solar system???

what if the meteor never hit earth? are we still the same evolved humans? are the dinosaurs still roams on earth/or they will evolved into smart species and reigns at the top of the foodchain? can you create a content about this. Im just curious.
