I don't understand why it hurts when you bite your tongue by accident and it doesn't hurt when you bite it on purpose. I also don't understand why you are biting your tongue right now.

I've woken up from a coma. It happened because of a surgery gone wrong. Needless to say I was allergic to the anaesthesia gas they gave me to fall asleep, which caused my lungs to collapse. They thought I had woken up so they added more gas, which made it far worse. When they finally realised, I lost consciousness due to lack of oxygen to the brain. And nonetheless I fell into a coma for about a week or more. Honestly, they didn't know if I was gonna wake up but by some "miracle" I woke up to see my mum sitting right next to me; she never left my side… :')

I am now 13 and am disabled because when I was 9 I was in a plane crash and my parents died so now I live with my grandparents but I was in a coma for 3 weeks and everyone thought I was dead. I could hear surroundings but couldn't see or move. It was horrible I actually thought I was in a dream then I started to think I was dying. ;D pls like coz I didn't rlly wanna share this

Man.. imagine how scary that would be? Being fulling aware of everything around you but being unable to move, speak or open your eyes. I've heard far too many horror stories about people hearing doctors talking about "pulling the plug" while they were in a coma to even imagine how horrifying that must be.

I once knew I was dreaming and I tried to wake up but I couldn't and started to scream and freak out in my dream until someone woke me up and said i was repeating "I shall fly" but I dont believe that.

When my auntie woke up from a coma she keep asking where was she, from watch too many action movies I thought she had lost her memory and started to cry .She good now

My aunt had stage 4 cervical cancer and she went in to a coma 10 days before she died and woke up after five this was very rare but the doctor had warned us that this could happen 5 days later on June 6 2017 we thought she would be ok but then she fell into coma once more and died a few hours later should her soul rest peacefully.

Ok I don't wanna be in a coma, but I've always thought it would be heavenly to be able to sleep 24/7. Maybe it means I'm depressed but sleep is the best part of my day. I get to escape consciousness.

Someone I know randomly went into a coma for a long time, I think almost a year. We used to visit her an d talk to her while she was asleep. Then we all got gastro so we didn’t visit her for a while. When we came back she was sitting upright in her bed awake as if nothing happened.
