UPDATE: The WebFPGA NeoPixel demo didn't work because it was written for the external Neopixel adapter and not the internal RGB LED.
And yes, I goofed the edit on the first clip.

That would be Ayano Sugiura From "Yuru Yuri".
I would have never expected to see anime in an EEVblog video

My years of watching your channel have led up to this startling moment of an anime girl in your thumbnail. Cheers!

How many people guessed that Dave was going to use the 6809 to say what he always says at the end of a video? The tilt bail is the one part of the EEVblog meters I don't like. My 35 year old Beckman Tech 310 uses a stiff U-shaped bit of metal wire as a tilt stand. It clips in to one of two places in the solid plastic case to provide two tilt angles. It is solid in use unlike the "bounce" you get when using the EEVblog meter with the stand deployed. I'm currently working on a small computer device that uses the 6809. That gcc based C compiler for the 6809 would be very useful. I'll be downloading a copy of it and giving it a try.

On the PCB that would be Phosphophyllite from Land of the Lustrous.

Sadly dedicated PNA GPS units are not useful anymore due to how rapidly businesses fail as well as housing developments spring up in many states. Services like waze or Google maps will have the most up to date data for free while the GPS makers will charge you $80 for a map update. Furthermore those claims such as lifetime updates are a scam. They will count lifetime as how long they plan to support the GPS before it is EOL. Even though map files released after the EOL date will still work, but once EOL is reached, they will no longer give you free map updates. You instead have to then purchase new maps.

I think the yellow tape would probably protect the UV erasable chip. I have several high intensity UV leak detection lights and guess what color the UV safety glasses that came with them are. You guessed it, yellow.

I love the fact that Sagan ratted you out with your hoard of boxes.
the fact he knows what electronic parts are and likes teardowns, tells me you're raising him right!

As of 2015 the 6809 lives on as the Rochester Electronics MC6809. Not sure if they're still making them in 2019 though. Pretty cool.

The suction cup on the Tom Toms are amazingly strong. I used one to hold up a car window for a week when the cable snapped on the power motor.
