Sagan reminds me of myself as kid, we got brought up on a lot of kids encyclopedia and nonfiction and kids introductions to basic scientific concepts. This put a fantastic smile on face.

The laws of physics are not a belief system. Why on earth do the free energy nutters keep confusing that. I don't believe in the laws of physics, I observe that I operate within the laws of physics.

They are a series of empirically proven facts, observable by independent observers throughout the known universe, consistently through time.
