Cats will do whatever they want, but if you develop a good relationship, they will come to you when called like a dog would. They will listen to commands like "no, go ahead, sit, laydown, etc." My cats don't ever beg for human food but I always let them sniff whatever I have because they're only curious if I'm ever eating something they can safely eat they are never interested in trying it they just Want to smell it up close. You also have to be able to put a foot down and treat them like teenagers. If you allow them to do whatever they want when they want, of course, they will never listen to you. If you want your cat to be trainable, you really have to treat them no differently than you would a real child

Both. Grew up with 6 pittys and loved it. As I grew older, I had 4 cats and loved it. Just research what they need, train them right and be kind and you'll have a wonderful companion through their whole life ♥
