We didn't cover how to do this in my college class, but this type of question is going to be on our exam, so this is a huge help to me!! You are very clear and your explanation is easy to understand. Thanks a bunch!

Wow, watching this video made a 2 hour lecture and an hour worth of reading about polynomials functions into a ~4 minute lesson. Thanks! I'm sure I will run into much difficult problems idunnol.

I have a doubt, is this applicable to each and every graph? I mean there can be 2 or more graphs which have same roots but have different curvature, I mean one might go up and then down and again up and down before it touches other root which is unlikely to other polynomial functions, I hope I could draw on comment section to show u!!,

if the graph doesn't intercept the x-axis, how to find the function? or it is just not a polymonial graph?

Is it supposed to be given that the polynomial is definitely a cubic? Otherwise, how do we know that it is of the form "a(x-3)x(x+2)", and not "a(x-3)x(x+2)(x^2+x+2)"? Or any other irreducible factor, or for that matter, any number of such irreducible factors tagged on after the "a(x-3)x(x+2)"?

If you multiplied the factors before inserting the (1, 6), how do you get -1??? Because I ended up with -1.5 because my equation was x^3-x^2-6x.

And what if one of the roots is a double root?

My teacher just gave this as an assignment and basically told us to figure it out.
