Answer for (C) is 5∛5 in its simplest form.
5x=125x¯¹/²
x=25x¯¹/²
x ÷x¯¹/²=25
x¹+¹/²=25
x³/²=25; squaring both sides
x³=625 ; taking cubic root
x= (5*5*5*5)¹/³
x= 5∛5

For a), I took a more complicated approach that involved using logarithms and I also ended up getting x = 5/2 (or x = 2.5).
