You can cut the 2s. I kust installed an 100ft & 50ft kit on my 2 story home and cut two strips on dead ends then siliconed the ends. Work just fine.

For some reason I have envisioned these as full sized bulbs and that is what my wife hates about lights that are up all year. Seeing these now, I may finally have the ability to convince her otherwise, perhaps prior to the upcoming months with many outdoor lighting opportunities! Love seeing this - thanks Shane!

I think it’s worth mentioning that the screws for the brackets are terrible. They strip very easily and are a pain to get started. I ended up buying some other screws and wish I did so sooner. I had much worse luck with the 3M adhesive. My adhesive didn’t last 3 days before lights started sporadically falling. So now every light has a bracket

I just bought the gen 2. The little clips with screws that hold them in place are a total pain in the ass! Two words, STAPLE GUN! Went much faster and look cleaner as long as you have wood eaves.

I picked up the Costco Elite 150ft which seems nearly identical to version 2. Both support matter, but Costco is $329 vs $449 ($120 less).

Great video. You forgot to mentio the Elite version. The Elite version is available at Sam's Club. I have no idea what difference the Elite offer but I might buy them as they are at a good price.

Great video! Is it safe to say that the Pros use of separate led for the whites, you’ll probably get more years out of them? Being that white is white and color is color vs. the original where it’s 1 led for all colors…. Thanks!

How many sets can u interconnect on the version 2 150 ft i want to wrap front back sides of house . Is it possible to interconnect without losing lightning.

With series 2 or Elite if it is 12 lights per segment set 16" apart then each segment should be 16 feet long. Is that correct? The Elite is sold in 150ft which isnt divisible by 16. How many segments are in the box? How many segments can be connected together across an entire house with say 3 or 4 12 foot extension cables between eaves?
