Students hear a first-hand story of illness, wellness and recovery; gain an understanding of statistics, facts, and stigma about mental illness; learn basic signs and symptoms and the importance of seeking help for themselves or a friend.

Dr. Hakeem, You are an inspiration to all of us you care this illness of depression.  Thank you for all you are doing for our youth who find it so hard to speak to even their own parent's and friends for fear of being rejected and missunderstood. May God Bless you and all your efforts.

God knows I would of loved for someone to have done this when I was in school.  It would of help me and my family so much.
