How to easily and cheaply remove window tint

This is how I remove window tint. You only need a black trash bag, windex with ammonia, razor blade, and a sunny day. This is a lot faster and easier than I used to do it.

I’ve had my car since 2013. When I purchased it, Dodge had already placed limo tint on it. Now, for 10 years I have NEVER been stopped or cited for my tint in the many cities and states that I’ve lived. I returned home to Louisiana (which my car has been registered here before) here they come with the f***ery… I dragged because I didn’t want to remove it but knew I had to. Your video helped me big time.. FYI, I didn’t need the heat apparently …I wiped it down with a soapy towel, sprayed windex, and the garbage bag was on there for about 5 minutes lol.. both windows are clean!! Thanks!!

I just finished following his instructions and IT REALLY OMG!! I asked all the auto stores here in Hilo Hawaii and none of them could suggest how. My windows was almost impossible to see through which made it very unsafe to drive at night. I watched all the other YouTube videos and this was the BEST!!! Thank you so much 😀 jmdracing!

I was dubious about this trick - but I have to say it totally worked. I got the tint off of 2 windows with just a scraper, the windex with ammonia and black garbage bags... thanks so much for this helpful tip

Unbelievable, it works a treat! I only had blue trash bags but they worked too. I didn't leave the first one on long enough, so most of the glue was still on it. Some windex and a micro fibre cloth got it off relatively easy. Legendary video!

Just used some of your advice. Was film on the front windshield. Just cranked up the defroster and sprayed with the ammonia. Razor blade to get off. Came off perfectly.

I just bought a used car and the shop said I can't pass (NY) inspection because previous owner (AZ) put too dark tint on front driver and passenger side windows. Wanted $200 to have their "detailer" take it off. Windex and black trash bag for me! Nice no nonsense video, thanks.

Thank you for this video. Got a ticket for my tint and needed it removed for inspection but didn’t wanna pay to get it tinted only to later put some back on
