I am using the FOSI TD 10D amplifier but the volume is very low. Should I connect a turntable preamp which in turn is connected to my FOSI Power amp?. Will this correct the problem? I do not have a "phono/line" switch on my turntable.

Do you have to go through the power off procedure and the power on procedure each time you change the record? Or can you just turn off the turntable, change the record and turn it back on?
