Thank you for saving me from self-loathing that could've turned into depression

Thank god for this video! I've been going crazy putting together an audio setup just using online advice as a guide. Nothing I've seen is as complete as this.

As someone who's just diving into the world of vinyl this helped a great deal. I ended up getting a Sony PS-LX300 as a gift recently and with your help I managed to get everything up and running without any headaches. Thanks!

Other People: *use the radio while driving*

Me (a highly sophisticated intellectual): *use a vinyl turntable*

WHY WOULD YOU TAKE IT INTO YOUR CAR?! MAD MAN.

Oh my god, thank you. I have been going crazy trying to even begin to understand where to start, and any turntable / speaker online community I have stumbled upon has provided absolutely no elucidation, only obfuscation.

This was SO helpful. I'm brand new at this whole record player thing and just got into collecting vinyl and this really helped a lot. Thank you!

With the LP-60, if they are powered speakers, then yes, you can hook them up straight to speakers.

Wicked helpful! Someone bought me the record player as a gift not knowing you need speakers & a receiver to actually use it. After an hour of trying to get it to play through my computer I almost gave up. Using my ipod dock now & it sounds great. Thank you!

You can hook this turntable straight up to active speakers!

Oh my god thank you! I recently ordered an AT-LP60 and was a bit confused as to how I would set it up, and this video answered literally all of the questions I had. Great video!

Just wanted to say thanks for video. I couldn't set any sound. Thought I would need to buy preamp. You saved me some cash. I now have sound.

You don't need an amp/receiver if you have powered speakers

Thanks for this video. Last May I bought this turntable and used your FM Tuner method and it works great. I'm using a 540-watt Sony shelf system, but I'm debating getting a Bose Wave. Love the Sony, but (and I knew this when I bought it) it doesn't have a headphone jack. This video made the decision of collecting vinyl easier when I saw how simple these methods are.

Nice, my friend has one of those AudioTechnica AT-LP60's. He connected it to a 1980's Pioneer stereo amp, I gave him. The pre-amp feature is really nice to have! I have had a few Technics turntables, the sound quality is fantastic! There are to many options now a days- LOL!

I wouldn't suggest playing an turntable in a car because the car is moving and can bounce the record and scratch it.

incredibly imformative, sir omgosh. i was confused on how to get speakers connected to a turntable. now I know you need a turntable, a receiver or amplifier and then connect the speakers to that receiver/amplifier. thank you!

You can't listen to an LP on the highway except if you're sitting outside the car on the shoulder. You'd need $5.00 worth of pennies to hold the tone arm in place.
