As global coronavirus cases surge, many hospitals cannot keep up with the demand. Personnel, equipment, and supplies are in short supply. Dr. Seheult discusses the latest COVID-19 trends, as well as measures hospitals and patients, can consider.

We've produced each COVID-19 video with the best information we could access at the time of recording. Naturally, some videos will contain information that has become outdated or replaced by better information or research.

That said, we believe each video contains concepts that have enduring value and reviewing how the response to COVID-19 has progressed over time may be of interest to you as well.

What about the thousands of unmatched Medical graduates that have passed all their US board exams and have not gotten into a residency? This is honestly THE best time to open the doors to these doctors and let them help.

I would just like to suggest that, people in Canada and USA do what they can to help elderly. There are many here that are frightened to leave their home. If you have the proper PPE (personal protective equipment: medical goggles, 99 micron mask, face shield, ect) while you're sitting at home, you should do your part.
I would suggest leaving a note on any elderly door, stating that if they need medical supplies or groceries, to call you.

Maybe getting in touch with retired doctors as well to treat non-covid-19 patients, freeing up younger doctors to focus on covid-19 patients

I live in the Netherlands; a couple of weeks ago a lot of people thought that this virus was just something far from our country. Since Yesterday all businesses are closed and supermarkets are plundered and hospitals are very busy. Our government also urges us to be in quarantine and stay home! It spreads faster than you might think.

On march 16, in a press conference, French professor Didier Raoult claimed to have treated successfully coronavirus patients with hydroxychloroquine combined with azithromycine.

The study was performed on 24 patients vs controls. Plaquenil alone reduced the viral charge by 75% after 6 days, while Plaquenil + Azithromycine were able to reduce it even further close to 100%.

France is in lockdown. It started on march 17. It’s supposed to last for at least 15 days. People who are not working in health care or emergency services and food industry are not working and are thus not paid.

Tents outside - makes so much sense! 1 vent for multiple patients - that’s creative, good thinking! Good luck to us all in the front lines

The third way, to handle the surge, is one you've previously mentioned. Getting lucky and one of readily available ant-virals works and you are able to quickly reduce the general severity of the cases.
