What boggles my mind is that Fauci has never gone up in front of the masses and shared this common sense advice (sleep, Vitamin C/D, etc..) Just on a one off interview...

Graphs are somehow useless if you want to assess a resurge in cases. Here in Italy the national statistics institute (ISTAT) conducted a serological study on a representative statistical sample of the population and based on its results it can be said that 1.5 million people in Italy got an infection (whether symptomatic or asymptomatic). But compared to the official data based on how many tested positive in rt-pcr tests, the actual number is 6 times higher, meaning that the first wave should be somehow multiplied by six. This underestimation of the infected cases was due to lack of testing at the beginning of the epidemic curve, so we saw only part of the so called iceberg. On the other hand right now we're able to copy with the current rates of the infection because we've increased the lab capacity. This may also be true in other European countries. They have historical data underestimated and current data that match (at least so far) the new cases of infections.

Stress reduction these days...that has to be the definition of irony.

Avoid crowds in enclosed spaces as much as possible. Makes sense. I've done that most of my life. XD

This channel has greatly reduced my stress by providing accurate information about the pandemic. I'm just a lay person but I appreciate the scientific and statistical information very much. Thank you.

Ok but what does closing bars at 10:00 PM actually do? Politicians are under tremendous pressure to "Do Something!!!" So what they do is called "window dressing."

You can't assess the danger of new cases in the second wave without reference to the CFR and those figures are on the floor in France and the UK. Despite having a far larger second wave, France is now only seeing 1/15th the amount of deaths compared to the peak.

Thank you so much Dr Medcram and Team Medcram. You help explain medicine, math, and statistics. May God bless you, protect you, and guide you.

While those graphs in European countries look dramatic, during that first wave testing was not yet scaled up...there were likely far more cases back then that is represented in these graphs, which would put this recent uptick into perspective. Yes, there is definitely a new increase, but when compared to the Mar/April numbers is misleading.

am an internist who was sick with covid late March 2020 before the science evolved.  I wanted to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Seheult, to Dr. Bauchner, Dr. Cecconi, Dr. Angus on JAMA, and Dr. Osterholm bc for helping me to survive that time. I hope that voices of reason continue to help to quell the panic in our society.  God bless all of you and may the Forces of Good take back the White House in November

Exponential growth of an infection is limited by factors like growing immunity and population size.

How about doing a segment on how many people testing positive for C-19 are actually contagious. That’s some data that is seriously needed.

Why can't we educate the masses on improving one's immunity????
Why???

Why are they not talking about deaths in the EU? Because they are down.

Hello Doctor Seheult, thank you for these updates. I have been following your protocol minus the cold showers and so far so good. Have you commented on the huge racial difference in COVID infection and death rates? It just hit me 2 days ago, the Han Chinese are nearly immune to COVID. Taiwan has a larger population that New York State does, yet only 7 people have ever died in 2020 from COVID in Taiwan while 10 people an HOUR were often dying in New York.

The death rate in 0.3 in Taiwan, 3 in China and 1716 per million in New York. The Han Chinese are extremely immune from Covid. And no matter where they live, the lowest death rate in NY is for Asians and the highest for Hispanics. How have we missed this till now?

Wrote this which has all the data and links. "Is Covid-19 Racially Selective? Hispanics Are 3, 800% More Likely To Die Than Chinese, The Economic Implications" If you search on that you will find the article. BTW no one is talking about this worldwide that I am aware of. Be extremely interested in your take. You have been my #1 source on COVID and know you are open minded so again greatly interested in your take. Thanks
