How to Unlock and Begin the Legion Class Hall campaign in Dragonflight

One of the questions I get asked the most in the comment section of my Legion Artifact Appearance videos, is HOW to begin your Class Hall campaign starting in (Broken Isles, New)Dalaran in current retail. With the newly-added Chromie Time, beginning questlines in some zones has become a little confusing.
For that reason, I made this relatively short video to give you an easy and quick overview of how to begin your Class Hall Campaign and get your first artifact weapon in current retail, Dragonflight, 10.0.5.

There is one inaccuracy in this and it relates to max level players. Its not sufficient to just go to new Dalaran. You wont get handed the quest. I did this on my Shaman (because I want to get the class mount), eventually an elemental comes up to you and asks you to follow you, and he brings you to Thrall. Thrall says he has an urgent message but you cannot go any further, there is no quest and its not possible to get one. (for the avoidance of doubt, I had never been to legion on my shaman so I hadnt done previous quests and abandoned them or anything). I spent ages trying everything, going to places I researched were in the questline but I couldnt get any breadcrumb quest to start me off.

The way to solve this is to go to Orgrimmmar/Stormwind, and find a command board (in Stormwind beside the auction house for example), and you will get 3 options to start previous expansions. if you click the one on the left (for broken Isles) you will start the legion campaign (it might warn you that its for lower level adventurers), and you get through to Dalaran eventually via the Legion story quest. You will then be able to access your class hall questline. Hope this helps anyone like myself looking to do this for the mount.

Anyone new here I highly recommend lving through legion. Only thing that annoys me is at 45 you get a lot less XP because of the squish. They should extend it to lv 50.

I started a DK and only completed two zones when I hit 45. Got a long way to go.

Thank you SO MUCH! Though I don't think Blizzard made this questline difficult enough. They should have forced you to: crash your car into an underpass pilon while growing tomato bushes in the back seat, burn your socks in a bonfire on the seventh Tuesday of the month, wear a shirt that says "I'm With Stupid" and the arrow points up, eat hospital food you found in the garbage, rent a VHS tape of _The Room_ at a Blockbuster Video using only nickels, go on a snipe hunt with a slingshot made out of popsicle sticks glued together with the tears of a crocodile dressed in a pink tutu, kiss an angry wild tiger while holding a raw steak in your hard clenched teeth, pretend to be the president and enter the White House while holding a sign that says "I WON!", lick a poisonous toad in the Amazon after hiking there on your hands and knees from Germany... I think you get the point. But again thank you SO much for clearing up this horribly obtuse questline.

i haven't played WoW in about 10 years. Coming back to the game in Shadowlands I was completely overwhelmed. Your guides have been really useful in bringing me up to speed. I just played through BFA content (the game sort of makes you go through it by default on your first character) and now I'm ready to go to level 60 through shadowlands. Once I've done that, I'll start a new toon using and go through Legion content. I have a query though, will I be able to unlock the achievements tied to allied horde races from legion (high mountain tauren and nightbourne) if i start a new character (zandalari troll) and go through chromie time to level in legion content?

The easiest way is to either click the Command Board in the capitol and pick the Legion option or simply take the portal to Azuna in your faction's capital city, then take the flight path from Azuna to Dalaran. That's literally all that is required. No need to mess with Chromie Time.

In order to get the shapeshifted transmogs for druid forms it says you need to "Complete all Order Hall Quests". Is that simply mean the weapon chain of quests for all 4 forms or other quests in the area too?

I had to TP to Azsuna and fly to Dalaran to "explore it" before I got the questline.

A buddy had TP me there prior to, but when I TP'd from Stormwind it didnt show me in Dalaran? Idk, I had a Leatherworking Quest there and it wasn't popping up. Kind of confusing but I followed the Leatherworking questline and that was the route I had to take.

@AutumnGames Hi I started playing again in SL and haven't played since WOTLK and I am on a DH I pvp mainly but wanted to get artifact weapon xmogs. I am max level also and cannot pick up a timeline for some reason, either way I tried flying there from Azsuna and ran around for awhile and no one ran up to me... is there something I am missing?
