You don't necessarily have to put as much furniture outside as possible. I have tons of fruit trees, 6 villagers and tons of flowers with like 3 furniture items outside and I quickly unlocked the 3 star rating 😀😀

Quick correction: able sisters isn't built the next day, it's the day after that. It spends a full day behind those big green walls being built.
