Maaaan I missed these episods. Perfect way to start the year.

I love that edition, it takes me directly back to 1989. I have almost every GFPM from 87 to 90
ChrisPuckett
I absolutely LOVE this. I have some of my GFTPM mags still, but some got thrown out over the years. This is a trip down memory lane.

Please don't stop these GFPM read outs. Love going through the articles and adds with you! Happy New Year from Portugal!

Happy New Year. Looking forward to 2022. I have that one also. 😂been collecting this mag since 1984. They’re everywhere down in the basement.

I have a copy of that one somewhere. Need to dig out my old mags.

All those ads are so familiar/memorable.

Blues Saraceno has been doing some cool stuff for Tv/Film for Extreme Music for a few years now....great player!

5:21 Milano Music is still alive and thriving in Mesa, AZ. Great shop for kids, lots of beginner gear, school band stuff, and a few nicer acoustic guitars.

Rhythm City (aka Rip 'em Silly) was the go-to place ATL back in the day. Got bought out by GC at some point. Apple Music in PDX shut down a few years ago but it was a cool store. Ahh... memories.
jeffyork
This is so cool because I still have most of my collection of guitar mags🤪

Nah the Stones did comeback hard with "Mixed Emotions"
EyeShotFirst
In '89-90 the Stones had a huge album and tour with Steel Wheels.

Interesting one. Around the 6 minute mark, ad for the Seymour Duncan Livewire Metal, I just got one of these for a great deal after a decade of searching. Killer pickup & the ad description is spot on. 🔥

I remember having this issue. Love it. Happy New Year!

6:35 Carvin had some nice sounding solid state tube like tech back then. As a kid and not knowing much about amps I bought one of their solid state amps and used it as my main pedal platform amp for 10 yrs, then I became a tube snob for a while when I finally pulled it out again after a few years I realized that it was a great simple pure tubelike sound and had no complaints at all (plus it was super lightweight which I didnt realize until later)
