I have the same telescopic straw. I keep it in my purse. Make sure you take it with you when you go to Aruba. They don't use straws at the restaurants on the island.

Tablet cruise app will be in display like you are using your phone app. It does not matter how big your tablet screen is. So if you want a "normal look" at your cruise, use web browser. Keep in mind the tablet and phone app browser has "desktop view" like you are on your computer.
