I have tried to explain to people this very thing about dog psychology. It’s just aggression because of how the fence is perceived as a territory line to guard. Once that is removed, they are not aggressive. People often try to demonize Or humanize dogs… they are neither. We have to try to understand the very basic and primal thought process behind a dog’s behavior in order to get the results we want from them. They want to please us. They are very impressive and wonderful companions. But too often misunderstood and mistreated because of that. I’ll get off my soapbox now lol
