I have a 90lb pitbull, stopped taking him to dog parks after he turned 1yr old. He wouldn't bother other dogs, but hated dogs jumping on him. He would immediately throw them off and get pissed, I would ask owners to please keep his dog from jumping on my dog. They wouldn't, so i stopped going.

*Do not enter a dog park without a collar! (Or just harness and no collar on- wrong)* In a dog park, dog should always wear a collar, this way, you've got the upper hand over your pup. In a dog fight, a collar allows you to make a "strangle" move, which means a dog will need to surrender in order to breathe. Harness doesn't allow you to make that move.

If a dog fight does break out and its YOUR dog that’s aggressive. Little tip is to grab there back legs and hold them up. Then, train your dog.

Yes it’s TERRIFYING !! This happened to me 2 times with my dogs! One with my girl dog evie against another random dog, and then the other time it was my girl dog evie and boy dog Captain America they were both on leashes and out of no where another pitbull ( they’re all pitbulls ) came running up to me off of its leash and my dogs got nervous and protective so they started fighting, it was a horrible fight I thought they were all going to kill eachother I was screaming and crying and I kept trying to separate them the other dog bit my hand because I was trying to grab him by the collar to stop him from biting my dogs neck. They were literally trying to rip each others necks apart it was SO traumatic for me and for the dogs. I’m glad they’re all okay, my babies were SO SICK afterwards I thought they were going to die captain had a horrible bite on the side of his face and we didn’t have money for a vet thank god we got some antibiotics for him he’s okay and healthy now and evie had the bite on her face too which was turning into an infection but it wasn’t as bad as captains & evies ear was bleeding / cut. It is horrible and the worst feeling every I’ve never went into such a protective mode in my life. Thank god everything is okay now! 🩵🩵🩵🩵

So tired of first-time dog owners getting Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, etc. because they wanna look cool when they have no idea how hard it is to train these dogs. It’s not the dog’s fault. It’s these dumb owners.

Do not use harnesses on big dogs. That’s what chokers are for. Walk my 13 year old lab that I rescued as a kid at six month old every day with his choker. He’s perfectly well behaved.
