How To UPDATE PS5 DualSense Controllers

Is there a way to updat without usb cable. My charger port doesn't work on my ps5 co troller so I charge it on my charging dock, but now it's basically forcing me to update my controller or I'd have to buy a new one

Use the port that supports usb C to usb C

You need plug the cable in the ps5, that should make it work

Here's my problem right now 9/16/23
"Dual Sense Wireless Controller Device Software"





"To use your DualSense wireless controller, you need to update to its device software to the latest version.

This update will be quick, and your console won't need to restart.

Connect your console using the USB cable, and then select [Update Now]"

I do as instructed even using the same cable as this guy, BUT the [Update Now] button does NOT appear from grey to white meaning I cannot move forward with the update.

What's wrong?
