Peter thank you for the information. This was very educational. I watch your channel when you go over trials. I would love to see more videos like this since you are a personal injury attorney, and you are very insightful. I don't think you broke down the collision coverage, unless I missed it. I have both property damage liability $50, 000 and collision (CA), and I am now thinking I am over insured, if there is such a thing! Is there any way you could break down the collision and property damage liability?

If the insurance company totals my vehicle, can I just keep it and have it repaired myself. I think may folks find themselves in this situation where the insurance company totals the vehicle but the you cant go out and find something comparable for what they will give you. I take good care of my vehicles and if all it needs is some body work that exceeds what the insurance wants to pay, I would rather just keep it and have it repaired on my own. Is this an option or would I need to go find it at an auction?

I have full windshield coverage, what if I claim insurance for a windshield replacement, then 3 weeks later a big rock hits it and I need to replace it again, can I just claim it again to get it replaced or do I have to wait a certain time?
