Just a heads up, I'm a dental hygienist, and I see a lot of people here hating on fluoride. Fluoride is a neurotoxin in extreme quantities. Your toothpaste is fine. You can die from too much spinach (oxalic acid), lol. Secondly, I used to work at a dental office that advocated for non-fluoride products because we knew patients would return needing expensive fillings six months later (I quit there). I fell for it too. I had to get three fillings after switching to a "natural" toothpaste. After three years at my new office, the one consistent factor in reduced tooth decay is fluoride. Sorry. There's also fluoride in food, so it's everywhere.

Thanks Teeth Talk Girl. I got so involved with my morning routine to get outta bed, fighting seasonal affective disorder, that a forgot to brush in the morning. And when I have brushed, I forgot to floss. I'm gonna put it into my Healthy Habits Goals along with getting up early, morning walks, meditating on God's Word & put it FIRST! I really needed this reminder. I appreciate all the work you put into making your videos. They are always interesting & you make it fun so we want to watch every video. For me anyways.

My dental hygienist recommends electric as well. I've been told I'm doing fine manually (by her) and she said that as long as I'm using proper technique, it's okay for me to keep using a manual toothbrush.

Wow, I have learned so much from my mom. No wonder I get compliments from the dentist! I wonder how she knows this stuff! I have never heard of brushing before breakfast though, I will have to look into it! 😮

For some reason I can brush better with a manual brush. But I have missing teeth so maybe that’s why. I use a super soft brush that has tons of bristles.

Hi could you explain what fluoride ppm means? My sensodyne proenamel has 0.25% sodium fluoride and 0.15% fluoride ions. What ppm is that?

I have a question for you, is it possible to get braces the second time privately if you just have one crowded teeth on the bottom side.
