I wish you were there when I’m studying algebra 30 years ago. It’s easy with your explanation .

On solving we get a+b+c=15, now we are asked for avg. value therefore it will be 15/3=5

Simple take 2 common from 2a+2b+2c=30
After that
2(a+b+c)=30
a+b+c=30/2
A+b+c=15...

a+b+c = 15

It's asking for the AVERAGE which means total sum divided by the number of terms, which in this case is a, b, c so 15 divided by three is 5 and that's the AVERAGE VALUE

2*2+3=7. Hence a=2. And b=3. 3+2*10=23. Hence C=10. So 2+3+10/3 = 15/3=5. This was my calculation.

From value putting we can get the answer
If we can put a-3 b -1 c -11
Then both sides are equal
From this method we can get anwer easily

Let C=0
Then B=23
A=-8
Now (23+[-8]+0)/3 = 5

Very very simple let add all given info then (2a+b)+(b+2c) => 7+23 =>2a+2b+2c =30 => then a+b+c= 15 avg = a+b+c/3 = 5

When I helped my youngest son with his homework apparently I was wrong. The problem went "There are 5 knights who need to protect a castle 24/7, how long does each knight stand guard?" So after a lil over 5 minutes, that's right I'm a genius 😂. I came up with the answer 4hours and 48 minutes. He brought that piece of paper home and the SHIT WAS WRONG. Wanted me to do some other shit that wasn't even in the instructions 😑. And I took that as a insult to my intelligence, which is bare minimum.

Let put b=0, here equation are 2 and variable is 3 and easily find a and c

But what about the 3 in the denominator we can multiply it with 5 by cross multiplication method to get 15.

Why did we need to divide a, b and c by 3? Is it cuz a, b, c is 3 letters?
