When she said "you cant talk to him that way or he'll get angry." Sent a shiver down my spine.

Thanks Finn for actually acknowledging the guys who saved the girls life

What gets me about stories like this is they are usually tame compared to what goes on in real life to some people. Makes me shiver.

When she tells the detective to stop yelling at her and he wasn't
You can tell right there she's been traumatized by men since childhood

Everybody talking how sad the episode is. But nobody talking about how good of an actor the kid is

The ending made me happy the mom can live peacefully with her daughter with the 4 mil and actually move on with her life knowing they wouldn’t have to worry about financial problems again ❤

This is an older episode, I'm not gonna post any warnings. Her mother(Jenny) was a victim of CP and she wanted to make sure her daughter, who was the only good thing in her life, never had to experience the same trauma and humiliation she went through. Jenny could have easily subjected her little girl to those horrors but instead, she wanted to give her all the love and protection she herself never got.

I like how they drilled the locks on the door but left enough resistance for rollins to grunt dramatically while busting the door down with her shoulder.

The way she reacts when she thinks that the detective is yelling at her hits very close to home, from her asking him to stop to her saying she'll do whatever she wants for him. As a survivor of childhood/teen SA, I often did the same thing. Praise God for my husband, dad, and other wonderful men who taught me that that's not what I deserve. I sympathize greatly with her character and her actress is amazing.

Thus episode was ine of the darkest ones I ever watched. The mama had been raped all her life since she was a girl she was forced to play a woman named Lacy or Laci and when Olivia's therapist held her and said u don't have to be that girl anymore thar broke me down in tears.

This episode broke my heart the first time I watched it. But I was happy Liv and the squad were able to help the mom get her daughter back

This is how I ended up in foster care…. I was left alone with my 6yr old sister, 2 year old brother and 7 month old brother…. I was 1 years old at the time.

I remembered a tiktoker once telling how when she was 9 her mother would lock her in their apartment for the day while she spent time with her boyfriend(s) while the girl would come back from school by herself and eventually would learn to protect herself by herself, story like these happen and still happening

you would think they would stop putting a male officer with her b/c she clearly has trauma surrounding men. yet they continue to let a man interrogate her...

Who else soften up when the detective kept calling the little girl, "baby"?

gotta be one of my favorite episodes just because of how much justice they get for the mother in the end. Barba does some of his best work, he's such a badass in this episode

This was a good one. Almost made me cry. Spoilers

The mother, Jenny, is actually a little girl that the FBI had been searching for. Her stepfather produced child-pø|2n w/ her as a the star for years. Barb learns that she can actually get compensation from the creeps who watched & shared it. Jenny’s owned compensation came to roughly $4 Million. It looks like she won’t be able to do more after the first, b/c she just couldn’t do it again. Then, Barb learns one of the creeps was a CEO. So, he finds he can legally go after him for all of it. Let the perv go after the others for the rest of the money. Jenny is spared dealing w/ it for the rest of her life. She ends up w/ the money, & gets her daughter back.

been watching too much criminal minds, the minute that benson said "there's something else going on there" my mind immediately went to hotch/reid/emily/etc. explaining the woman's behavior and theorizing behind it
