This is not how to fix clipping! It's just how to reduce the volume of clipped audio. Not helpful, sorry.

You are not using the Clip Fix effect properly since you are using an older version of audacity. The latest 3.0 version in 2023 is much better since it not only has the threshold function but also the reduction of peak amplitud in db. If you know how to use it correctly, you'll get a very clean clipless sound. However, I am using this clip fix in the context of a classical guitar audio recording I did once that at very few points it clipped. When it comes to voice recording, its better to just re-record with the waveform you have in your recording.

very awesome tutorial, but how we can remove a distortion or a snow Fx from a track ..not in our case with the noise reduction, but is there another way to remove the bad noise which is inside the track ??
that happens always when I change my pitch..

Is there an explanation of what the parameter "Threshold of Clipping" is and why it is expressed by %? Also, I don't see any waveforms that exceed the Audacity recording scale of -1.0 to 1.0, so even though the sample audio is loud...there is no clipping in it. Disclosure: My definition of Clipping is any waveform that exceeeds Audsactiy maximum volume recording scale.

I have a recorded speech. One or two words distort. Do I need to highlight the entire speech and select Clip Fix or should I just select each distorted word one at a time and use Clip Fix?

IF its clipping do it over .CLip fix is Terrible ..it will never ever happen in a pro studio ..IS not the Mic is the signal that's to loud .>you cant fix clipping if you lower the volume its just a softer clip .>heavy metal is sill heavy metal at any volume ...to prevent clipping in need to happen Real time some audacity cant do or lower the gain .>in Audio Less is Good
