3 items of note- 1: Your platen for the printer is anodized aluminum- use a plastic putty knife vs anything steel on the surface- 2: when you use the UV cure light please use an enclosure- reflected and ambient UV (Although it is much less) can be an issue (As well make sure the spectrum of the cure light is the same range as the printer UV source). 3: Bravo on this process- its a great medium for replicating and prototyping! (And I agree with DAHIGI about using the platinum investment) I personally use this for my master then silicone a mold for shooting waxes.
Bravo and good content!

grow media is tricky to burn out properly when you have very fine detailing. it's best to use platinum investment so your final burnout stage can reach 1800 degrees. it's also less apt to break off small pieces when your pour the metal

I’m thinking about starting a jewelry and a clothing brand and currently learning how jewelry works all this is helping me understand this more easily but jewelry seems hard not gonna lie (:

Good stuff, I've been experimenting with casting resin prints for the last few months. I've gotten some good results, but I still need to get some things like a proper oven and vacuum table. I've been using the Form 2 and it produces amazing prints, they even have specific resins made to burn out of molds that are mostly wax.

Hola, una consulta, el cepillo de dientes no queda contaminado, despues de usarlo para limpiar las piezas?
Se puede seguir usando como cepillo de dientes?

Thanks for sharing. Do you know if the resin will release VOC's while being cured like normal epoxy, or will I need my full PPE while working in the area while it's printing?

I am a student with logistics issues. I live 8n a small apt. Other than fine .999 silver I am not permitted heavy tanks in ky small residence. I had an Idea: using my Rhino software i use my 3D printer make a positive jewelry piece asvwell as a negative of the same as a mold. If the mold is about 6/8 around dimentionally I can use a PRECIOUS METAL CLAY and a klin. Precious metal clay hardens. Once that happens klin firing is between 5% - 15% shrinkage for the organic clay to burn away leaving metal. I can place the Precious metal Clay in a Delft clay investment cylinder does that seem workable? A 3D printed mold negative from my original jewelery print, Precious metal clay folded in removed once dryed hard -- placed in a clay investment tubing and klin fired??
