“How we spend our days, is how we spend our lives.” That is a good thing to remember…daily ☺️ thanks, Sophie.

When I feel stressed about too many things, I always take a minute to step back and to tell myself: "You don't have to do it all at once." - That always helps ❤

I resonate with you when you said we create these arbitrary rules/ goals for ourselves and feel guilty when we don’t achieve them. I used to write daily to-do lists, and feel guilty if I didn’t complete them all in one day. I was sick of feeling like a failure, and beating myself up, so I decided to do a weekly to-do list, rather than daily. That way, I’m giving myself room for “life” and keeping myself accountable. I think any small changes you can make in your habits, patterns, and routines, can bring drastic results in an unexpected way. Thank you got sharing your thoughts ♥️

Living in the present moment totally, 100 % focus on NOW without giving my imagination the chance to run wild about tomorrow is what is keeping "stress" out of my life. Forever grateful.

Hi Ms. Sophie. Thanks you for this video.

Single, disabled, female home owner. Have 5, 224 square foot lot to maintain by myself at age 47. House was horribly flipped. One expensive problem after another. I get preyed upon by contractor scams because I have no husband. I tried to have a nice yard. My whole lot is stricken with blight. I LOVE gardening! I get to watch all of my trees, shrubs, lawn, and bulbs slowly die. 😔 I cannot even enjoy gardening. Everything I want to plant will just die. The overwhelm is incredible. No family support. So alone. 😞💔 I am suddenly apathetic now. Just give up. Live in a crappy house with a crappy yard for the remainder of my life isn't a great feeling.

@3:06 The simple mindfulness activities that you mentioned, are often ways that quickly help snap me out of the thick of feeling stressed/overwhelmed & back into the present moment. Thanks for the reminder, Sophie! 🤗💚🙏🏾

Honestly, I just need someone to talk about my problems face to face but I literally have no one which just causes me want to commit but I’m trying to push through

I can relate to this topic so much! I am normally a positive person but the idea of my new job stresses me a lot as I will be working with very vulnerable people and that’s never easy! Just got out of training and tomorrow it’s the first day ‘on the field!’ So nervous about it but I am determined to do the best I can and not blame myself for situations that I won’t be able to control! Sorry for talking so much about me on this comment Sophie, clearly the topic triggered something that was inside of me! I do feel better now after watching you, you always know exactly what to say and how to say it! ❤️

I truly believe that “the beginning is always the hardest part”… for the past few months I’ve been so overwhelmed studying and preparing for my exams but now I’m in such a good place because I have been trying my best to keep a consistent schedule. I’ve been going at it one day at a time and not procrastinating and I have seen tremendous results plus my mental and physical health is better than before. Watching your videos has such a positive impact on me knowing that I am not alone in my struggles. Thank you Sophie 💕

Hi, Sophie, it’s still 6:38 in the morning here. This came in right at the ideal time. Woke up and scrolled youtube ( Unhealthy, I know, did it anyway, lol). Was feeling stressed and overwhelmed lately. The points that you mentioned here in the video seemed so effective and rational and it felt resonated right away. Your personal experiences that you share through your videos has brought so many positive changes in my life, too. And, this video of yours made me feel so collected, relaxed and brought ease in many ways. Thank you for putting up something like this which everybody can relate.❤️
