why did everyone like One Tree Hill so much

People have been asking me to take a look at One Tree Hill, and since Chad Michael Murray is in Riverdale now, I figured it would be a good time to finally give it a try ;)

OTH’s probably the first teen drama where all of the main characters had serious character development. There’s usually always one or two characters that don’t change because they didn’t need a lot or development to begin with but each of the characters had flaws

One reason I loved this show was because of Lucas and Haley’s friendship, one of the most realistic ever on TV. Most other shows would have had them be a couple at some point, but their friendship stayed pure and innocent thought the entire series.

One Tree Hill was so much different than every other show I’ve watched. After 9 seasons, I fell in love with the characters and felt like they were like my family. I cried so hard during the ENTIRE last episode. After it was over I felt like a part of me was gone. I know that sounds dramatic because it’s only a tv show, but that’s how good the show was and what an impact it had on me.

There’s more to it than just the romance and “hot” boys talking about feelings and stuff, they shaped their characters strongly, you were connected to the stories constantly and always at the edge of what will happen to them, one of the best teen drama shows ever created.

I was addicted to one tree hill! The drama was great and the characters really went through a lot! And it made me root for different characters that I didn’t expect I would.

Bc there’s no vampires witches demons wolves sirens, a town with a secret deadly game etc. Yes there’s a death but we know who did it and everyone finds out who did it after a season not 7 seasons w a stupid ending and always different killers *cough cough* PLL.
One tree hill and Dawson’s creek was the closet to being “real” and “relatable” compared to any other shows. I don’t even know if they make high school shows like this anymore.
